Maddy took her first trip to the grocery store with Mom and Dad on June 6th. She did well, only getting fussy when we were checking out. This is Mike not being amused at my need to take a picture documenting this big event! I realized after this trip and almost filling the shopping basket with her diaper bag full of supplies, that I really only need to bring a small bag with her changing mat, wipes and a few diapers into the stores with us. The next shopping trip I wore her in her Baby Hawk carrier and she was sound asleep the whole time. We went to Target tonight, kept her in the car seat, and she got fussy midway through our shopping and I ended up holding her for the rest of the trip, think baby wearing is the way to go for now on.
We have our first dinner out tomorrow, should be interesting to see how we do...
