Beach Walk

We took Maddy for a walk on the beach the other night, she loved the spray of the ocean on her face! Here she is dressed in her warm sweatsuit, and a picture of me wearing her in the Ergo sport carrier. We left the camera in the car for the walk, but we got to see a pretty sunset, and the water was surprisingly warm on our bare feet.

Smiles After Bathtime

Maddy was all smiles when she was being dried off after her bath. Getting pictures of those smiles is a challenge, whenever she sees the camera she stares back at it, so I keep trying to distract her from the camera, but I still only got one smile on "film".

Grandma and Grandpa Clay came to visit Maddy on the day she turned 9 weeks old. I put her in an old dress that I wore as a baby. How cute is she with her big brown eyes?!?

Passed Out in the Car

Daddy took the long way home from the fair, luckily Maddy passed out in her car seat for most of the ride home, the fair wore her out! See her little hand holding onto her Elmo?

Orange County Fair 2009

Last weekend we took Maddy to her first county fair. It was warm and sunny so we only stayed for a few hours, and Maddy slept through most of it in a carrier on mom or dad. The stroller came in handy to carry the goods we bought. While we were there we took our first photo booth pictures of the 3 of us! We got to see sheep, goats, pigs, an ox taller than us, and rabbits the size of dogs!

Jumper

This is Maddy in her jumper on Saturday. My mom has videos and pictures of me loving my jumper when I was a baby, so I have been looking forward to seeing my own baby love hers too! She doesn't quite have the strength required to really jump and bounce in it yet, but she does enjoy swinging around in it and moving her legs and feet around. And, you get to hear Mike's high-pitched (well as high pitched as his voice can get) Daddy voice! :) That's our cat Lani walking by in the last 2 seconds of the video.
