Feet

Maddy is such an active baby now. These are photos from a few weeks ago of her playing with her feet. 

Hazel and Maddy

Here are some more recent pictures of Hazel (my bff's daughter, who is 50 weeks older than Maddy!) and Maddy. They don't show much interest in each other still, but I think in a few more months they'll love each other dearly :) I love Maddy's little hand on Hazel's arm. 

Kind of obvious someone was trying to get them to look at the camera? I keep looking back at these photos, they are so cute!!

Sitting Up

Maddy has been working on sitting up! She can sit up in her (actually borrowed from Hazel) Bumbo seat now. Soon she'll be sitting on her own, such a big girl!

I haven't forgotten!

No, I have not forgotten about our little family blog. Our camera (all 3) batteries were all too low to upload photos, so they are either now charged or are being charged. Updates soon...for real this time!

Pool Time

We were so excited to take Maddy swimming for her first time. We bought a reusable swim diaper, floating baby seat with sun shade, and a special swim hat. We waited until she was 3 months old making sure her skin was ready to be exposed to the chlorine, but while our pool was still heated. We went in the early evening so we wouldn't have to worry about sunburns. We were so prepared....but Maddy was in the water for about 30 seconds before her poor little body started shaking from the water that wasn't quite warm enough for her. We got our cute pictures and brought her inside for a nice warm bath. Uncle Kevin has a nice pool by his new condo, with an addtional pool specifically for kids, so we hope to go there soon while she still fits in her swim diaper!

Los Angeles County Fair

Two weekends ago, we took Maddy to her 2nd county fair. We were at this one later in the night and she loved looking at all the bright lights on the rides and game booths.
