Today Madeline is 1 and 1/2 years old! We'll have to start planning her second birthday party soon. 18 months is a funny age, fiercely independent while still being our baby. This month she enjoyed her 2nd Halloween, her favorite part was helping to pass out candy to to the Trick o' Treaters, and trying to go inside all the houses that she trick o' treated at, especially if their was a dog inside. On Halloween she wore her cowgirl outfit after refusing to put the cupcake on again.
She started to enjoy swim class (water in the pool is warmer now too), took trips to the zoo and aquarium, and "walked" in her 2nd Diabetes Walk at Universal Studios. To celebrate her age milestone we bought her a seat to go on the back of my bike for family bike rides. Daddy even found her a cupcake helmet!
Spent a whole Friday with Daddy; went to the aquarium (but was asleep so we drove around town), went to Target, walked around the mall, walked around the block, enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner together, drove around the airport. She did very well, only crying when Amanda got home.

We love you Madeline Mae!
Love,
Mommy and Daddy
