Maddy Visits Room 22

I took Maddy to meet my students today while they were having their end of year party. I was very lucky to have an enjoyable class this year, I love 2nd grade! The students were so excited to see us, Maddy slept through the whole visit. We figured she was "at home" because she was already used to the noise of my class from pregnancy. Next year I will be teaching the 5th grade GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) magnet class with another teacher. I am so happy to be able to stay at my current school and to work part-time, I feel very lucky to be able to spend as much time as possible with Maddy during her first year, and to keep my job. It'll be a challenge to adjust to the new (lower) income, but so worth it!
(I took my camera with me, but completely forgot to take any pictures.)

Tomorrow is a busy day, we have lunch with one of my oldest friends Alexis and her mom, Beryl, who was my Girl Scout leader, then we are visiting Auntie Laurel (who will have our niece Bella sometime in the next 3 weeks!) and Uncle Josh, then we are going to my school's staff end of year party. This will be our biggest day out so far!
